Frequently Asked Questions

Are you qualified?
Yes, I'm a qualified and insured VTCT Level 3 male massage therapist with over 9 years experience.

What do I wear for my massage?
To be honest, whatever you are comfortable with. You can wear underwear or swimwear, but if you want a full massage you'd need to be naked.  I will cover you with a towel during the massage if preferred, simply let me know before I start.

What oil do you use?
100% pure refined dry massage oil with Jojoba

What times do you massage?

Monday to Friday    09.00 to 18.00

Saturday & Sunday 09.00 to 18.00

Bank Holidays         09.00 to 18.00

The above times are my available hours, if you have booked an appointment my last massage for the day will commence at 16.30 for a 90 minute and 17.00 for a 60 minute booking.  On occasion, I can offer a massage to existing clients from 18.00 until 20.00.  This is subject to availability and an additional charge will apply.

Is there parking available?

Yes, free parking is available.

Do you offer shower facilities?

I do not offer shower facilities prior or after your massage.

I'm early for my Appointment?

If you arrive early, text me and if I’m able to bring your appointment forward I will. If I don’t respond then please wait until your appointment time.

I'm running late for my Appointment?

If you’re running late, please update me if it’s safe to do so. However, if you arrive late, I may have to shorten your massage to the original end time, if it clashes with my next client.

I now can't make my Appointment, I need to cancel?

Your appointment is very important to me, it is reserved especially for you and while I understand that schedules change and adjustments are necessary, I respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations.  Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving me enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and any other clients miss the opportunity to receive my services.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply if you fail to give at least 24 hours notice regardless of the reason.

Less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge of £30 per hour booked.

"No Shows" will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount arranged, any further bookings must be paid upfront by bank transfer.

New clients - time-wasters

If you are a new client and do not confirm your booking with me, or you do not cancel beforehand, or reply to my messages I send you prior to your appointment (i.e. no further correspondence after making and confirming a booking), then I will not allow you to make any future bookings with me.

How can I pay?
I accept cash payments or in advance by bank transfer.

How much notice do I need to give you to book?
It's best to let me have as much notice as possible, but the minimum required is four hours. (subject to availability)​

Do I have to fill out the health questionnaire form? 
Yes. The health questionnaire form is very important and must be completed on your first visit. It helps me ensure the massage is suitable and that your treatment will be safe for you.

What are your Coronavirus (COVID-19) precautions?

PRECAUTIONS THAT ARE IN PLACE:

In accordance with Government and Public Health England guidance Sunshine Massage Swindon has taken precautions to protect its clients. These include rigorous cleaning, sanitation and infection control procedures are carried out in the studio.

Despite this, their is a risk of transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and it is important that you are aware of the risk.

Upon arrival your temperature will be taken

Are their any limitations?
Due to limitations of my massage table, I'm unable to offer a massage to anyone over 20 stone (127kg).

Will you ever contact me?

I will only contact you regarding your appointment or my services, or if there is a problem with your booking and if I need to change or cancel it.  Any communication will be discreet and if you do not wish to be contacted by a particular method, please let me know.

Will my information be kept private?

Absolutely - Discretion & confidentiality is assured at all times. I don't pass any information on.
